No problem. After all, I speak terrible German, even if I do understand it.

Bud's voice in HIPPOPOTAMUS is completely unknown to me, and I don't know about the NOBODY films. I knew Roger Browne worked with dubbing, but I had no idea he was Terence Hill's voice. Browne himself is actually dubbed by others in many of the films he appears in. In THE SPY WHO LOVED FLOWERS, he's dubbed with a British accent, and in PASSWORD: KILL AGENT GORDON he's dubbed by Frank Latimore, and by Edmund Purdom in KARZAN, MASTER OF THE JUNGLE.

Getting back to the topic of Robert Sommer, I've made a few little clips from films I have with him, starting with his role alongside Bud in BIG MAN: https://youtu.be/upxG_Pt_Eqg
If Sommer really is Bud's voice here, then Sommer himself must surely have been dubbed by someone else (as was pointed out here earlier).

Now, none of these films were shot with live sound, but if Sommer did indeed use his real voice in MUSSOLINI AND I and STRADIVARI, then in my opinion, he's not the guy who dubbed Bud Spencer in BIG MAN and all those other films. What do the rest of you think?

I don't know about the first three. They don't even sound familiar to me, but the voice in GOTT MIT UNS sounds very much like Frank Latimore.

Yes this is Robert Sommer. Sounds a little younger, but thats Buddy in BIG MAN and others to me.

Yes, but in the other films, Robert Sommer sounds different, doesn't he? I wonder if maybe Sommer was dubbed in HITCH-HIKE because he was unavailable to dub himself, and then someone has assumed that the voice in HITCH-HIKE is Sommer's own and then started to add all these dubbing credits on the IMDb??

"Torino Nera" müsste ich irgendwo auf englisch haben. Den hatte mir Norbert mal mitgebracht! Da kann ich dann auch einen Sound-Schnipsel online stellen davon.
Bei der langen Fassung von "A Reason To Live, ..." ja ich gerade gehört, dass die Stimme von Bud wechselt. Es ist nach wie vor Mannix zu hören und dann eben zwischendurch immer mal ein anderer. Wobei der mir auch bekannt vorkommt. Ich würde das auch mal raussuchen dann und einen Clip erstellen.
Bei Terence Hill kenne ich auch keinen weiteren Sprecher mit Namen. Aber wir können die ja zumindest klanglich erstmal sortieren dann für die einzelnen Filme und den jeweiligen Sprechern zuordnen versuchen.

EDIT: Das war Quatsch, ich meinte natürlich McNamara, nicht Mannix bei "Fort Holman/Reason To Live". McNamara spricht ihn auch in "Torino Nera".
