​Thank you very much indeed! That proves your theory about the US re-dub was right in the first place. Yes, Terence Hill has gotten the same US dubbing voice in "Ace High" as well. With the International Paramount distribution of that particular picture and in the context of the general Italian western craze at that particular time, and with the huge successes of the "Dollars"-Trilogy or "The Great Silence", "Once Upon A Time ...", etc. etc. etc., I really wouldn't be too surprised if the production (value) of "Ace High" had been conceived totally different (or larger, that is) than its predecessor. Reckon Eli Wallach's participation alone is just another indicator --- meaning that it's been probably clear from the very start of that film's production that it would have to be dubbed in New York by all means and maybe that's just why they didn't extra-mention it in the credits of the film.
The database displays a photograph of Carlo Lizzani from his cameo appearance in "Torino Nera". That'll probably be of much help to you there. Can't say anything about the actress tho.
I probably won't be checking or double-checking on any further data information before next week. My Louna kind of insists every now and then that I more or less, at least during the weekends, try and put some effort in pretending that we were really a couple of sorts *nudge nudge*

Die Synchronsprecher anderer Länder scheinen übrigens nicht nur uns zu interessieren. Unser bereits bekannter Informationsdieb aus Ungarn hat die hier zusammengetragenen Daten netterweise schon mal bei Facebook veröffentlicht. Selbstverständlich unter seinem Namen und ohne Angabe seiner Quelle. Anderes sind wir von ihm ja auch nicht gewohnt, ein sehr netter Mensch.

As far as I can tell, the reporter dubbed by Frank von Kuegelgen is indeed Carlo Lizzani. Is there anyone who can confirm if the woman at the end is Rossana Martini or not? If it is her, then we can add in the DB that she is dubbed by Susan Spafford.

Regarding the US dubs of GOD FORGIVES, ACE HIGH and BOOTS HILL, I think the way to identify the voice actors in this version is to ask the fans of Japanese monster movies, since they too were dubbed by the team at Titra/Titan in New York. I know there's a large fan base for these films and for the American dubbers, so if anyone is able to make clips or something, then we could ask for help in one of the Japanese monster movie forums maybe?

I can hear Sommers too. But we need a second opinion. I am not really sure about him. btw Latimore is great voice for Hill.

Dan Sturkie ist es in Teufel und fünf Gefürchteten selbst. Bei Boot Hill bin ich nicht sicher, da hat er so wenig Text.
Ebenso sind es Lionel Stander, Woody Strode, Eli Wallach und Brock Peters selber.

Bei SPEAKING WITH THE DEVIL sind nur die Nichtmuttersprachler synchronisiert. Der Film ist ebenso wie Miami Cops viel mit Live-Ton am Set.

Bei ALADIN dachte ich immer, der wäre komplett englisch und niemand synchronisiert. So kann man sich irren. Den kannte ich aber bisher nur ausschnittsweise.

Yeah, he sounds younger here (which he was, of course), so maybe it's that. What do you think, Lewton?

And I agree about Latimore. His voice is perfect for such roles, which is why he was usually used to dub such leading men (he also dubbed actors like Steve Reeves, George Hilton, Franco Nero, Richard Harrison etc). Anyway, he is (as far as I know) the only actor to have dubbed both Terence and Bud, although I don't really think he was a very good fit for Bud.

Ohja, ich habe das gelesen und musste mich sehr zurückhalten! So "Leute" sind ja meine ganz speziellen Freunde! Ähnlich wie der Hohlmann, der die ganze DB beklaut hat und es als eigenes Buch verkauft hat! Der bleibt wohl der König der Diebe! Der stiehlt auch schon gerne mal Fehlinformationen!
Das ist auch das einzige BS&TH-Buch, das ich nicht gekauft habe und auch nicht werde! Sowas unterstütze ich einfach nicht!
Ich bin noch am Überlegen, ob ich seinen Beitrag kommentieren soll. Das Beste waren dann noch die Spekulationen zu Kroko und Hector, wo sie es verdächtig finden, dass es synchronisiert wurde, weil sie darauf schwören würden, dass er selber singt.
Äh, ja, tut er, und? Was hat das mit der Synchronisation zu tun? Hätte man seinen Gesang auch synchroniseren sollen?
Was das eine mit dem anderen zu tun hat, verstehen wohl nur Menschen deren Denkhorizont an der Iriswand endet! Ja, selbst wenn er die Innenseite seiner Brille und sei es nur eine Sonnebrille sehen würde, wäre es wohl eine Horizonterweiterung!
Das war vll. zu böse und zynisch, aber ich bin zum Glück gerade nicht auf Freundschaftssuchtour...

Im übrigen, auf Deine Verdächtigung hin: ich tendierte eher dazu, dafür zu Danken, dass er die Informationen zu den Synchronstimmen/Fassungen, die von mehrere Usern in meinem Forum usammengetragen wurden, so schön tabellarisch verarbeitet hat!
